Baphomet's Lounge

Music is my love and on top of my huge music collection, I have tons of books on the entertainment industry that I've read and reread. It was this passion and my quest for knowledge that I partnered up with RockstarPix TV and later Infinity Music Mag.

Every time I form a partnership, I wind up doing all the work, then I get pissed off and leave. Thankfully, all new interviews will now be under the Baphomet's Lounge banner, but since I am proud of my past work, it will included here for you to enjoy .

By now my relationship with Infinity Mag founder/editor Arun Kale had gone from bad to worse and even though this was edited for Infinity, the little cocksucker refused to release it. Thankfully the Nazareth website featured this wonderful opportunity for me to ask one of my top 10 favorite bands of all time about some of my favorite (and unfortunately lesser known) albums. These guys and their crew are a top notch quality act and it pains me that a bunch of hacks like the Rolling Stoned are touring arenas while these chaps are relegated to the small club circuit. But then, it doesn't seem to bother them as you can see, as they play their asses off every night. Check out the funny incident in the middle of the interview...these guys are a trip, when you can understand what they are saying.

I took this interview because Sara Van Alstien, the daughter of one of my clients, was a huge fan of the band and is totally in love with Burton. I originally had a video interview scheduled in Cleveland, but I wasn't able to honor it due to scheduling conflicts so we settled on a phone interview. The day of the interview was insane and when I have more time, I'll fill you in, but for now, enjoy the deep and ultra cool Mr. Bell.

I didn't know shit about this band, but took up the interview because it was a favorite of former Infinity Mag editor/founder Arun Kale. Regardless, I spent a pleasant day hanging out with Sex Martin in my favorite city so it was a good time none the less. It was this interview that started the downfall between Arun and myself as detailed in the Five Minute Series segments entitled What Comes Around.

One of my top 10 favorite bands of all time, it was truly an honor to meet and interview Helloween founding member Michael Weikath. This was the first interview I did for Infinity Mag after leaving RockstarPix TV.
